Taris is a world in the Mandalorian Space sector of the 25th Anniversary Community Patch for Star Wars: Rebellion.[1] In the patch it fills the map slot that holds Jerijador in the original game.[2]

Details

The patch lists its geology as planet, temperate and urban sprawl. Its species are listed as Nekghoul (native) and .... Its economy is listed as food, raw materials, luxury, tarisian ale and tech. It sits at grid reference N-7 and has 0 hyperlanes.[1]

History

Taris is a faded echo of what it once was, with its upper levels left in ruins by an earlier disaster. This ecumenopolis, once prosperous and famed for towering skyscrapers and a teeming populace, now stood as a grim warning about warfare and reckless ambition. A few tough survivors and outcasts scraped by on the lower levels, but the world never regained its former standing. The Imperial campaign against the Rebel Alliance largely passed it by, since the destruction it suffered had greatly reduced both its strategic and economic value.[1]
